Dr. Junhyung Park is a distinguished leader in bioinformatics and AI-driven healthcare solutions. With a Doctor of Science from Pusan National University and a Master’s in Mechatronics Engineering from Pukyong National University, he brings an interdisciplinary approach to his role. As the CEO of  3BIGS. since 2018 and a Professor at Incheon National University since 2017, Dr. Park is a driving force behind AI-powered healthcare advancements. He has also held significant positions at Theragen Etex Co., Ltd. and Insilicogen Co., Ltd., where he showcased his expertise in bioinformatics and leadership.

Dr. Park’s visionary leadership extends to impactful projects, including the development of biohealth data training programs and multi-omics-based tuberculosis drug candidate predictions. His dedication to advancing healthcare is evident through his work on cancer patient data utilization systems. Currently serving as an Adjunct Professor at Pusan National University School of Medicine, Dr. Park’s expertise and contributions continue to shape the future of AI-driven healthcare innovation.

Hyun Nam-gung

Hyun Nam-gung, a seasoned professional with a Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Chemistry from Seoul National University, is at the helm of AI-powered healthcare innovations.Currently serving as the Co-CEO of 3BIGS since July 2022, Hyun Nam-gung’s leadership is characterized by strategic vision and industry expertise. Prior to this role, he held the position of CEO at Neurogen Co., Ltd., where he contributed to pioneering advancements in the field. With an extensive project career, Hyun Nam-gung has been instrumental in initiatives ranging from genetic research to healthcare technology development.

Notable projects include pediatric developmental disease cohort-based sequencing, organ transplant cardiovascular cohort production, and Korean population genome information construction. Hyun Nam-gung’s commitment to transformative healthcare solutions continues to drive the success of 3BIGS., making him a driving force in the AI-driven healthcare landscape.

Hoyong Chung Ph.D.

Dr. Chung, a trailblazer in the exciting field of Genetic Engineering, plays a pivotal role in bringing cutting-edge solutions to life at 3BIGS. Armed with a Doctor of Science in Genetic Engineering from Kyung Hee University and a Master’s degree in the same field, Jeong Ho-yong boasts an impressive educational background. What sets him apart is not just his credentials but his passion for pushing the boundaries of what’s possible.

Currently serving as the CTO and Director of the Corporate Research Institute at 3BIGS since April 2018, Dr. Chung has navigated a diverse and impactful career path. From his role as a Genomics Postdoctoral Researcher at the Agricultural Life Resources, National Institute of Agricultural Science, Rural Development Administration, to contributing significantly as a researcher at Seoul National University Green Bio Science and Technology Research Institute and the University of Texas at San Antonio’s Biology Department, he’s left his mark on prestigious institutions.

His project journey tells a compelling story of impact. Whether establishing data analysis systems for cancer protein genomes or constructing comprehensive marine organism microbiome databases, Jeong Ho-yong consistently showcases his dedication to advancing scientific knowledge and leveraging technology for solutions.

Hyun Cheolmin Kim

As CMO, Dr. Cheolmin Kim is responsible for providing direction and planning of the B2B and B2C business model in the medical market to 3BIGS. For the past 30 years, he has been educating doctors at medical schools and has guided medical scientists and biomedical informaticians as a researcher. He majored in biochemistry in graduate school and conducted research on cancer genes and anticancer drug resistance.

While medical genetics was developing into genomics, he participated in the process of the birth and development of genomics and bioinformatics in Korea, serving as president of the Korean Society for Bioinformatics and vice president of the Korean Genome Organization. He founded the Department of Biomedical Informatics at Pusan National University College of Medicine. He also developed a DNA chip for diagnosing multidrug-resistant Mycobacterium tuberculosis and a drug-resistant HBV diagnostic chip using microbial genetic information and microarray technology.

Currently, as a clinician who conducts both clinical works and researches to protect the health of the elderly in the aging era. Also he is attempting an application of bio-BIG data-based R&D in medicine beyond the scope of disease diagnosis and treatment for the vision of 3BIGS.

Kantharuban Mohan

Kantharuban brings a wealth of finance, administrative, and overall management experience to 3BIGS. He has cumulative experience of over 20 years in general administration and finance, specifically in life science and bioinformatics organizations such as BIOBASE, QIAGEN.

His passion for business development and digital marketing is evident, and he brings crucial strategies to make 3BIGS a successful organization globally. Kantharuban obtained both his undergraduate and master’s degrees in business administration from the University of Madras. He loves traveling and enjoys different cuisines.

Dudekula Dawood Babu

With an extensive background spanning over 27 years in bioinformatics and data analysis, he currently leads the technical team at 3BIGS in India—a pioneering biotechnology company at the forefront of revolutionizing genomic medicine. His role involves overseeing the design, implementation, and management of data analysis pipelines, the integration of large-scale bioinformatics data, platform development, and guiding initiatives in drug development. Beyond ensuring the quality and accuracy of genomic data, he collaborates closely with the research and development team to provide valuable insights and guidance for the development of innovative products and services.

Prior to joining 3BIGS, he spent 17 years at the National Institutes of Health (NIH) as a Research Specialist in Bioinformatics. Additionally, he served as a consultant for Elixirgen Scientific, specializing in stem cell research and gene editing, and held the position of Principal Scientific Manager at Excelra, a data and analytics company focused on solutions for drug discovery and development. Throughout his illustrious career, he has applied his expertise in genomics, bioinformatics, and data science to support a range of projects, including gene expression analysis, biomarker discovery, and drug target identification.

His remarkable track record includes contributing to 33 publications in peer-reviewed journals, underscoring his commitment to advancing genomic medicine and leveraging data science for the betterment of human health. His fervor lies in delivering impactful solutions for clients and partners associated with 3BIGS.
